Intensive Moscow's Attacks Disrupt Power In Ukraine's Capital

Energy infrastructure targeted in the region
Ukraine's energy systems have come under escalating strikes in recent weeks

During the night, Russian missile and drone strikes have caused power cuts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and dealt with disruption to water systems, per reports from city officials.

Meanwhile, a young boy was lost their life in a separate Russian drone strike in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, according to area administrators.

Moscow has increased assaults on electrical systems over the past few days, while officials has requested "concrete actions" from partner nations to exert influence on Russia.

"What is required is not window dressing but decisive action - from the US, Europe and the Group of Seven - in providing protection systems and implementing sanctions," he wrote in a public message.

Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen rockets struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

Government representatives said Russia was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were laboring to fix the damage.

A barrage of missiles struck power facilities and residential structures in the capital.

Five out of the nine people hurt in the strikes on the capital have been taken to hospital, according to local officials.

Regional authorities said the city came under heavy assaults overnight. A seven-year-old child was killed and multiple civilians were injured.

The strikes come after nights of aerial attacks in the territory, sections of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

All of Ukraine is in a state of readiness for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are tougher to spot.

Government officials told the media that Moscow was intentionally trying to damage the country's energy grid, with attacks already impacting gas facilities.

Authorities confirmed energy workers and officials were bracing for further attacks.
